“Groundhog Day”
Winter holidays at our university. I spent a lot of time to watch those films and TV series that I had been postponing for a long time. One of them is “Groundhog Day”.
At the beginning of the year, we learned the dialogue from this movie, which consisted of standard phrases, similar to small talk. It has a lot of simple dialogues and easy words in English.
The film was released in 1993 and became a popular comedy and gained a huge following.
Synopsis: Cynical commentator Phil Connors comes to the small town of Punxsutawney to tell the audience about the marmot that predicts the weather. Suddenly Phil realizes that he is stuck in time, for him it is always February 2 and he has to understand a lot to get out of it.
Movie quote that I liked
Well, what if there is no tomorrow? There wasn’t one today.
